North American Youth Congress

The 2023 North American Youth Congress featured a twelve-sided LED screen dubbed “Megatron” as well as a lower four-sided LED screen. Each screen of Megatron was 22’ tall by 15’ wide.

Each screen was individually controlled which allowed different camera images to be shown at the same time. The initial design was for an attendee to have at least three screens in view at any one time. However, the viewing angle of the panels allowed for any seat to be able to view at least four screens with most being able to see five. This allowed us to use a wide shot of the show over three screens more often than planned.

As attendees walked around the stadium, their view changed but they could always see the stage and at least three screens no matter where they were located.

The lower four-sided screen featured a “normal” broadcast feed, which was the recorded signal.
